About the Position

We are seeking a Palo Alto Networks Engineer to join our team in Moldova. This role involves developing business relationships, conducting technical workshops, and enhancing network security.

Responsibilities

Develop business relationships with vendors, partners, and business development in the area.
Increase the distribution share through technical competence, qualified consulting, and support.
Complete training and successful certification at Palo Alto Networks.
Conduct presentations, practical technical workshops, and pilot testing.
Participate in conference calls or meetings with customers/partners, analyze existing infrastructure, and select Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Prepare technical solutions and arguments to protect SOW from competitors.
Use a laboratory stand, demo for testing various functionalities and software of Palo Alto Networks.
Assist in installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks network security systems.
Actively participate as a speaker in events for partners and/or customers.
Create or find all necessary documentation regarding Palo Alto Networks products.
Monitor competitors.

Requirements

Higher technical education.
2+ years of work experience.
Advanced knowledge of English, upper intermediate Romanian, and intermediate Russian.
Knowledge of network technologies and network construction topologies.
Familiarity with Cybersecurity solutions and their impact on new business initiatives.
Experience with information security equipment from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper, Huawei, TrendMicro, F5, or CrowdStrike.
Experience with NGFW, VPN, IPS/IDS, URL filtering, DLP CASB, IOT, Endpoint Protection, DNS Security, Cloud Security.
Certificates of completion of courses, trainings, or workshops on information security solutions would be an asset.
Ability to select the optimal solution for a technical problem.
Experience in preparing and holding technical presentations, workshops, events, or pilot tests.
Experience working with system integration, distributors, or large customers.
Willingness for long-term cooperation with the company.
