Payroll Manager

About the Position

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager who is now looking for a new challenge? Our client, a major player in the green energy and clean tech sector, are now undergoing a period of significant expansion. As a result, they have now engaged exclusively with us in Cpl to recruit a talented, energetic, and ambitious Payroll Manager to join the Finance Team in Limerick.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and processing of multi-frequency payrolls under critical deadlines.
• Oversee all aspects of both weekly and monthly payrolls for Ireland and UK.
• Upload bank files for employee pay as necessary.
• Implement appropriate controls to verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to implement and build out a fully integrated payroll platform.
• Support and mentor payroll staff.
• Collaborate with HR on the administration of and amendments to comps & bens schemes.
• Administer all payments of employee expenses.
• Ensure accurate reporting in relation to all Revenue & HMRC commitments.
• Produce and analyse information to support audit purposes.

Requirements

• IPASS payroll or relevant qualification.
• 6+ years’ payroll experience ideally gained in a large corporate environment.
• Must have extensive knowledge of HR policies and Irish Payroll.
• Exposure to UK payroll would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative with excellent organizational and administrative skills.

We Offer

• This is a permanent onsite role based in Limerick city.
• Base salary in the range of €70K - €80K plus benefits.
