Are you an experienced back-end PHP developer with a passion for PHP, Symfony, and DevOps? Do you want to contribute to the continuous development and management of a large public portal used by millions of people daily? Then this is the job for you.
Responsibilities
You will be working within a multidisciplinary DevOps team responsible for the continuous development of a large-scale public website. Together with front-end developers, UX designers, and stakeholders, you will work on innovative functionalities such as personalization, geo-search, targeting, and the application of AI.
In addition to development, you will also be responsible for the operational side: monitoring, testing, and ensuring a reliable and robust environment with high availability. Every sprint, you will add value that you actually bring to production.
Requirements
Mandatory:
- HBO work and thinking level
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with PHP/Symfony
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps environment
- Dutch CV (max 5 pages)
- Experience with Kubernetes
Technical knowledge and experience (preferred):
- Drupal or other open-source CMS environments
- Docker, Helm
- CI/CD, OTAP street
- Bash/shell scripting
- Postgres and/or MySQL
- Symfony framework, OOP, Clean Code (SOLID)
- Git, YAML
Soft skills:
- Proactive and strong communicator
- Analytical and eager to learn
- Attention to detail and quality
- Experience in knowledge sharing and mentoring juniors/mid-levels
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
