Job description
About the Position
At Projective Group Talent, we offer an exceptional career experience in Financial Services. We support and coach you in developing new skills and progressing in your career, whether as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or in a leading role. In this PMO role, you will create a clear overview of strategic initiatives and help teams apply a consistent, practical approach to project delivery. You will grow into a trusted partner for leadership by supporting prioritisation, transparent reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will join a specialized Belgian mutual insurer that supports healthcare professionals with insurance, pension, and investment solutions throughout their careers. The organization is strengthening how strategic initiatives are selected, managed, and followed up, creating an opportunity to shape a central PMO function with impact across teams. You will work in an evolving, bilingual environment where clarity, collaboration, and pragmatic governance are important.
Responsibilities
- Develop a consolidated overview of ongoing projects and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain a central portfolio dashboard with reliable project data.
- Monitor progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
- Prepare clear portfolio reports and decision materials for leadership.
- Support teams in applying shared project standards, tools, and governance.
- Coordinate quarterly prioritization and facilitate portfolio review workshops.
- Follow up on decisions and actions while encouraging collaboration across departments.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Between three and five years of experience in PMO, project or portfolio management, consulting, or a related role.
- Experience with project governance, portfolio reporting, and coordinating multiple initiatives.
- A structured and analytical approach, with the ability to turn complex information into clear insights.
- Confident communication and facilitation skills when working with leadership, project owners, and teams.
- A proactive, hands-on, and collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with portfolio tools is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and French, with a good working knowledge of English.
We Offer
Here’s what you can expect from us:
- A competitive salary and a flexible mobility budget (including the option of a company car or bike leasing).
- Meal and eco vouchers, an individual training budget, and bonus opportunities because we believe great work should be rewarded.
- Entry into one of our Smart Programmes, based on where you are in your career and where you want to grow.
- A tailored client match based on your skills, ambitions, and personality.
- Coaching throughout your journey by your very own Talent Development Officer, someone who’s genuinely there to help you thrive.
- Regular learning sessions, social events, and a close-knit community that always has your back.
After two years of growth, learning, and real impact, you’ll have the chance to join your client permanently. And don’t worry-we’re looking forward to welcoming you at one of our regular alumni events.
