Power BI Developer (Big Data)

About the Position

KYIVSTAR Київстар – Big Data Products and Services Implementation Department is looking for a Power BI Developer to join our Big Data product team. You’ll be responsible for building and supporting advanced dashboards that drive insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients. The role requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Translate business needs into data models, KPIs, and visual solutions
• Work with large-scale data environments (Azure, AWS, Hadoop, or similar)
• Collaborate with Product, ETL, and Data Science teams to deliver accurate, scalable reporting
• Optimize data pipelines and dashboard performance
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing BI solutions
• Stay up to date with BI best practices and introduce innovative reporting approaches

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Power BI Developer or similar BI/analytics role
• Strong background in data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and optimization
• Experience with data architecture and engineering in enterprise-scale environments
• Proven ability to design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards
• Skilled at translating business needs into analytical solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail mindset
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification (or similar) is a plus
• Innovative, proactive, and able to communicate insights effectively
