As a Praktikant (m/w/d) CFO Office Softwareentwicklung, you will support our CFO in the technical development of our financial IT and the in-house development of software products used company-wide at CHECK24.

The CFO Office at CHECK24 operates in a highly technical and data-driven manner. This is demonstrated by the Data Studio and the in-house software development team of the CFO Office. With us, you will combine challenging software development with exciting insights into the business world.

Start: from April 2027

Responsibilities

• Ownership from Day 1: Our interns manage their own software product, which is used by multiple teams in the company.
• In-house Software Development: You will actively develop and extend our products in collaboration with our full-stack developers.
• End-to-End Responsibility: You will oversee the entire development process – from conception through implementation to further development in live operation.
• Data-Driven Excellence: In close cooperation with our CFO, you will develop solutions that provide more transparency and improve decision-making processes.
• Process Optimization: You will support the further development of our financial IT and shape digital processes for scalable growth.

Requirements

• Education: You are studying at least in the 4th semester of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or Mathematics at a top university and achieve excellent academic performance.
• Practical Experience: You have already implemented your own software projects that go beyond pure university tasks (e.g., in internships or your own tools).
• AI Experience: For you, AI is not just an exciting research tool, but a core technology that you have used, for example, directly in your IDE, for data analysis, or in prototypes.
• Technical Skills: You have solid experience in full-stack development (e.g., with Java, C#, or Python) and frontend frameworks like React, ideally from internships or your own projects. Experience in C#, Java, or other object-oriented/typed languages, as well as a basic understanding of software architecture and design patterns, is a plus. Familiarity with SQL and database handling is also ideal.
• Work Approach: You work in a structured and precise manner and have a strong performance and solution orientation as well as an eye for detail. High self-initiative characterizes you – you tackle topics proactively.
• Passion for Your Topics: You have a great interest in online business models, product development, and clean, scalable code.
• Communication Skills: You communicate fluently in German (C1) and English (C1) and can convey technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
