Pre-Sales Solution Engineer - DELMIAWORKS

Our DELMIAWORKS team is looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer. The preferred location for this role is on the East Coast.

In this role, you will be a critical partner for our sales team. Providing pre-sales technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our ERP software to manufacturing companies. You will leverage your deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems to craft compelling demonstrations, address technical inquiries, and ultimately drive successful sales.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales representatives to understand prospect requirements and develop tailored solutions
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations showcasing the capabilities of our ERP software to address specific manufacturing challenges.
Respond to technical inquiries from prospects and customers, providing clear and concise explanations.
Develop and deliver proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to validate proposed solutions.
Leverage your understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g. production planning, inventory management, shop floor control, quality control) to effectively communicate the benefits of our ERP system.
Translate customer needs into technical requirements for the development and implementation process.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including presentations, white papers, and competitive analyses.
Provide training and support to the sales team on product features and technical aspects of the ERP system.
Contribute to the development of sales tools and resources.
Work closely with the product management, development, and implementation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and enhance customer feedback.
Work with project managers to create accurate scopes of work for implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical) with 3 – 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales role ideally within the ERP software industry (MES/MOM/WMS/QMS)
Proven experience working with manufacturing companies and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Experience with ERP systems, preferably those designed for manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
Skills: Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong presentation and demonstration skills
Proficiency in using CRM and other sales enablement tools
Ability to travel as required
Excellent Time Management Skills
Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as a team player

Compensation & Benefits

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Benefits include a choice of plans providing comprehensive coverage for medical, dental, vision care for employee & dependents as well as employee life, short & long term disability, tuition reimbursement, immediate 401K enrollment, 401K match (50 cents on the dollar, up to the first 8% of your eligible compensation that you contribute based on match eligibility criteria), flexible time off policy, and 10 paid holidays.

Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $150,000 and $180,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.

An end-to-end ERP System developed with a “shop floor first” focus to help mid-market manufacturers increase efficiency and visibility of performance on the plant floor.
