About the Position

Principal Frontend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Frontend Developer to join our ING Hubs Turkiye team. As a key member of our international network of professionals, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical vision of our platform and integrating clients onto our chosen target platform.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical vision of the platform.
• Implement new technologies without negatively impacting customers.
• Integrate clients onto our chosen target platform.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with W3C Standards and features.
• Critical attention to detail about code, efficiency, and design.
• Experience writing unit tests, TDD, BDD, and familiarity with tools like Mocha, Karma, Chai, and Sinon.
• Deep understanding of the modern web platform, especially web components and progressive web apps.
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte) and a solid understanding of its core principles.
• Meet service levels for systems (availability, security, and performance).
• Experience with Lit Element is a plus.
• Working with Azure pipelines for CI/CD.
• Mentor and coach other developers in their learning and development.
• Ability to work alone or with others as needed.
• Well-developed and professional written and verbal communication skills.
