About the Position
We are seeking a Process Manager Catalog Master Data with 3-4 years of experience in taxonomy management and master data management to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Possess advanced expertise in taxonomy design and master data management, managing end-to-end data standards & normalization, cross-sell & up-sell, FBBs, and other data-driven product offerings. Apply expanded knowledge in related areas such as data mapping & syndication, quality assurance, localization, and project management.
- Align taxonomy design with client needs, prioritize and plan taxonomy upkeep activities to meet evolving data requirements aligned with organizational initiatives and goals. Ensure integration across production operations, CSMs, and technology teams to deliver efficient and high-quality solutions.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior team members to ensure knowledge transfer, deliver technical support to cross-functional teams, and lead taxonomy improvement projects with defined scope and resources.
- Resolve a range of complex taxonomy and data quality issues reported directly from clients, production operations, or related to software/systems. Review audit errors to resolve conflicts and propose taxonomy improvements by analyzing multiple data sources and industry trends.
- Drive compliance with taxonomy standards, ensure coded value normalization, and influence quality outcomes for production, client services, and integration teams through process optimization and audits.
- Communicate complex taxonomy standards, taxonomy changes, and industry-specific requirements clearly through documentation, built-in help, and stakeholder updates, building alignment across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in taxonomy management, master data management, data governance, product content management, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex data quality, taxonomy, and classification issues.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex taxonomy standards and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, reporting, and data management activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with eCommerce, product data, classification standards, or digital catalog management.
