About the Position
We are seeking a Product Analyst with experience in the gaming industry to join our team in Lviv or remotely, focusing on game metrics and market analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze game features during the pre-production stage and form hypotheses about their impact.
- Analyze basic game indicators, identify weaknesses, and form conclusions.
- Post-update analysis of game indicators and conclusion formation.
- Cohort analysis.
- Market and competitor analysis.
- Writing scripts for database search and using ready-made scripts (Mongo DB + Java Script).
- Conducting A/B testing: from hypothesis formulation to result evaluation.
- Ad hoc requests.
- Developing player segmentation for match-3 projects.
- Involvement in tasks for automating the analytics department's work.
- Direct interaction with the project manager and game design department.
- Tracking application positions by key queries and monitoring keyword traffic volumes.
Requirements
- Experience in the gaming industry for at least 2 years.
- Experience with Redshift Amazon (Mongo 3T is a plus).
- Experience with Tableau.
- Mathematically-technical education (mathematics, software engineering).
- Experience with casual genre games.
- High-level knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL or basic knowledge of any programming language.
- Perfect knowledge of game metrics and market markers.
- Deep understanding of how the industry functions and its main players.
- Expert in drawing conclusions from obtained data, indicative reports, and graphs.
- Good ability to hypothesize independently, refute, or confirm them.
- Good understanding of monetization principles and pricing in games.
- Knowledge of probability theory and statistics.
- Experience with A/B testing, successful cases available.
- Love for games.
