Product Education Specialist (Product Trainer)

About the Position

Poklyk is a product company that helps small and medium businesses work more simply and efficiently. Our products - Orderry and RO App. They help businesses automate work with applications, customers, warehouse, finances, team, and daily operational processes.

We are looking for a Product Education Specialist who will become the owner of the product training direction in the company - from analyzing needs and creating training programs to conducting training sessions and evaluating their effectiveness.

The main goal of the role is to establish systematic product training for teams, partners, and clients. The result of your work will become the foundation of their expertise, forming high competencies and confidence in daily product use.

Responsibilities

• Product onboarding by roles: Conduct product training for new employees according to adapted tracks based on the specifics of their tasks.
• Role knowledge matrix of the product: Formulate product knowledge requirements considering the necessary depth of immersion and product usage focus. Interact with department managers to determine focus, scope, and necessary level of training depth.
• Instructional Design and content development: Design training programs (using the ADDIE model) and create a complete set of training materials: presentations, manuals, regulations, checklists, and video lessons.
• Training partners: Prepare training programs and conduct product training for external partners and clients, adapting complexity and focus to their areas of activity and business needs.
• Training effectiveness evaluation: Assess the quality and effectiveness of training programs and onboarding based on criteria of material assimilation and readiness for independent work.
• Supporting the knowledge of current employees: Conduct regular knowledge updates for experienced employees, analyze identified gaps, and organize targeted micro-trainings to address them.
• Updating knowledge: Timely update all training materials in case of new feature releases or changes to existing product functionality.
• External representation: Represent the product at industry exhibitions (Kyiv): conduct demonstrations for potential clients and provide expert consultations (several times a year).

Requirements

Professional skills:

• English - B2 and above (spoken and written), proficient spoken and written Ukrainian.
• Experience as a methodologist/trainer for at least 2 years.
• Technical literacy, ability to quickly understand a complex technical product.
• Knowledge and practical application of adult learning methods (andragogy).
• Experience in developing training programs: courses, manuals, curricula, competency matrices.
• Ability to create methodological and visual training materials (presentations, infographics, process diagrams).

Work competencies:

• Strong public speaking and presentation skills - experience in confident public speaking to various audiences, ability to explain complex things in simple words, decompose and go from simpler to more complex.
• Facilitation skills - ability to lead and engage a group, maintain attention, work with objections and questions.
• Structured thinking - ability to break down a complex product into simple, digestible blocks.
• Ownership - ability to independently prioritize, structure work, and bring tasks to completion without step-by-step task assignment from a manager.
• Internal quality standard - focus on the result one is proud of, not just on formal task completion.
• Development orientation - willingness to independently improve both product expertise and teaching methodologies (taking relevant courses, following modern approaches to adult learning and adapting them in work).
• Openness to feedback: ability to perceive and promptly implement changes in training materials and approaches based on received feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a methodologist/trainer specifically in an IT company.
• Experience in the SaaS/CRM/ERP domain.
• Proficiency in tools for developing training content and LMS systems.
• Experience in building training plans and onboarding systems from scratch.
• Experience in applying AI tools for creating training materials or optimizing the training process.
