Product manager

About the Position

We’re currently looking for a new face to join us.

Product work has become an essential part of every project we do, which is why our team is growing.

We’re an agency, and we primarily work on client projects. Everyone usually juggles several projects at once. We don’t treat clients as mere requesters-they’re our partners. Instead of just executing tasks, we help them validate their ideas and build products that are truly valuable and successful in the market.

If you’re eager to grow your skills, we offer mentoring programs and ongoing development through close collaboration with the rest of the product team.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with user research and product validation (e.g., interviews or usability testing)
• Experience managing a backlog and communicating with tech teams
• Strong communication skills-you can present ideas clearly and have a touch of diplomacy
• You’ve led workshops or even full-blown design sprints
• You base your decisions on data, not just gut feelings
• You’re fine switching between multiple projects, often from different industries and at different product lifecycle stages
• You can choose the right approach for a project based on its budget and timeline
• You’re familiar with at least one product or design methodology (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup, etc.)
• You’re fluent in Czech or Slovak and English. Applifting has an international culture with English as our main internal language, but many clients will still need to speak to you in Czech.
• You can-or are willing to learn how to-use visualization tools like Miro, and ideally also FigJam, Balsamiq, or similar

Requirements

• Solid experience in digital product development-whether launching a new startup idea or developing a mature product in a stable company
