Join ING Hubs Romania as a Product Owner & Customer Journey Expert for IPA Trade Store, driving impactful change initiatives.

Responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you will:

• Combine market and system knowledge, product management, and business expertise to take a leading role in successfully delivering change initiatives.
• Be the interfacing function between various stakeholders (trading, sales, Ops, risk, IT, markets, and software vendor partners) to understand the challenges and identify how technology and process can be used to solve them.
• Represent the voice of the business to the squads.
• Support efficient change by providing impactful analysis on cross domain, end-to-end, complex environments.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • 10+ years background in Financial Markets and/or Treasury.
• Skills/knowledge:
  • Prior experience as Product Owner, Product Manager.
  • Experience in Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with the Financial Markets regulation is a plus.
  • Experience with working in Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience with product and service management and processes.
  • Knowledge in event driven architectures and streaming data.
  • Product experience in data pipelines, data modelling, ETL and databases. Strong knowledge in trade data models such as ISDA CDM, FpML and warehouse architectures.
  • Good communication skills (in English), as well as communication and presentation skills (telling – selling) across different skill and seniority levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
• Foreign languages: English (excellent level).
• Education: Completed education at Bachelor/Master level.

The Mission

Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.

Within FM, in Pricing Core area, we have ING Pricing Architecture (IPA) platform, which consists of multiple components that enable real-time and batch calculations of financial risk metrics and simulations (e.g. **XVA,**PFE, Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, Bilateral Margining, pre-deal derivatives Pricing) which are driven by new banking regulations as well as advanced Risk analysis on the derivative product portfolio of Financial Markets (interest rates, credits, foreign exchange). This platform is in the heart of the IT landscape for our global dealing rooms and risk managers in Asia, Europe and Americas, with aprox. 30 scrum teams spread across 4 locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Bucharest and Singapore), cooperating to evolve it towards target ING Financial Markets IT vision.

In particular, IPA Trade Store is one of the core IPA components responsible with the ingestion, transformation and distribution of trade related data to a series of other IPA components or pricing and risk engines, in order to be used together with the static data and market data for pricing and risk calculations.
