About the Position
Product Owner - Media Measurement
- Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
- Type: Full-time
- Compensation: EUR 25000 - EUR 35500 yearly
About the Role
As a Product Owner in the Media Measurement team, you will work closely with the product team, peer product owners, system architects, and agile development teams across Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, and India. You will be responsible for managing a team backlog for an agile team developing data science solutions and collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to maintain, refine, and prioritize a central backlog of features. You will work with data scientists, data engineers, and other software engineering professionals to define product requirements and accept the deliveries of the team.
Responsibilities
- Backlog Ownership: Manage the team’s backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, clients, engineers, and global teams to gather requirements and define high-value product increments.
- Agile Execution and GenAI application: Drive Agile development practices, ensuring iterative and efficient product delivery with the support and application of GenAI.
- Develop the “right thing” in the “right way”: Ensure ownership of the overall development lifecycle with the purpose of having a future-ready, scalable, and efficient solution that is fit for purpose.
- Quality & Maintainability: Advocate for best practices in testing, security, and software development to ensure long-term scalability.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment. A formal Product Owner certification is a plus.
- Media & Advertising Knowledge – Understanding of technologies related to media consumption, audience analytics, and advertising impact measurement.
- Excellent Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders and align priorities in a global context.
- Agile & Lean Expertise – Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and backlog management.
- Analytical & Technical Acumen – Ability to translate complex data-driven concepts into actionable product strategies.
- Data Science & Machine Learning – A soft spot for data science and machine learning or even hands-on experience is considered a plus.
- Cloud & Data Affinity – Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and data analytics tools is considered a plus.
