Production Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our team at TMC NPI. In this role, you will focus on the manufacturing processes of components for a diverse range of clients, such as those in the High Tech, Medical, or Automotive industries. You will use established methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Project Management to initiate improvements to existing processes and track the progress of those projects.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the manufacturing processes of components at a diverse range of clients.
• Use established methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Project Management.
• Initiate improvements to existing processes and track the progress of those projects.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Production, Quality Engineering, Product Development, Procurement, Technical Services, Logistics, and suppliers both locally and globally.
• Ensure stakeholders at all levels are well-informed about the status of your projects.

Requirements

• Completed technical BSc or MSc education (e.g., mechanical engineering, electronics, automotive engineering, or mechatronics).
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a production environment.
• Service-oriented, solution-oriented, analytical, and possess strong communication skills.
• Hands-on mentality and a high sense of ownership.
• Effective and efficient communication in Dutch and English.
