Responsibilities

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the daily production workforce in our Amstelveen warehouse (approx. 45 labor agency FTE)
  • Ensuring all bouquets are produced efficiently, on time, and in optimal quality, in collaboration with the quality team
  • Testing and implementing innovations and continuous improvement of the production process
  • Supporting the expedition team in outbound transport as needed
  • Planning people and shifts on the production line and other production-related activities
  • Contacting agencies for planning and performance management
  • Coordinating, validating, and administrating time clocking of all staff
  • Coordinating operations during peak periods (Christmas, Valentine's, Mother's Day)
  • Managing fulfillment or other warehouse operations when required

Requirements

  • +3 years of experience in (production) operations
  • Proven leadership skills (managing a team/shift)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Stressproof and talent for organizing
  • Proactive mindset
  • Digitally proficient / IT literate
  • Proficient in English (both verbally and written)
  • Verbal proficiency in Polish

Nice to Have

  • Verbal proficiency in Dutch and/or Bulgarian
  • Experience with Excel / Google Sheets, Slack
  • Experience working with flowers or fresh produce
