About the Position
We are seeking a Data Transformation Programme Director to keep a multi-country APAC data program moving, aligned, and measurable. You will run governance, planning, dependencies, reporting, and benefits tracking across dozens of initiatives so leaders can make clear decisions and teams can deliver with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Design and run program governance including steering cadence, stage gates, escalation paths, and RAID
- Build and maintain an integrated program plan, dependency map, and critical path across workstreams
- Prepare executive-ready materials including readouts, decision papers, options analysis, and pre-reads
- Coordinate delivery across platform, data governance, taxonomy, country data lakes, and analytics workstreams
- Track roadmap, budget inputs, and progress to support funding governance and sequencing decisions
- Define benefits measures, baseline metrics, and value tracking beyond milestones
- Resolve cross-workstream conflicts, delivery risks, and resourcing constraints
- Support the regional data and analytics operating model including roles, decision rights, and partner coordination
Requirements
- Proven experience leading multi-country or multi-workstream data or digital transformation programs
- Track record building governance structures including steering forums, stage gates, RAID, and benefits tracking
- Ability to operate as the delivery engine behind senior leaders by shaping executive content and decisions
- Strong background in data platforms, data governance, and analytics delivery with confidence in challenging plans
- Experience navigating fragmented systems and varied maturity across markets and business units
- Clear communication with the ability to align diverse stakeholders across cultures and time zones
- Ability to travel across APAC markets as needed
Nice to Have
- Insurance or regulated financial services program delivery exposure
- Familiarity with APAC data privacy and residency regimes (PDPA, PIPL, DPDP)
- Snowflake and cloud data platform program exposure
