About the Position

Project Engineer – Oil & Gas

The function is designed to act in a multidisciplinary team, which is responsible for the correct and timely delivery of projects in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Discipline engineers.

Responsibilities

  • General Activities:
    • Support the Project Manager with multi-discipline projects on specific tasks.
    • Work according to KOG-standards.
    • Supports the Project Manager with:
      • Scheduling
      • General engineering tasks
      • Overseeing and monitoring all discipline engineering activities
      • Procurement/expediting support
      • Project documentation
      • Fabrication support
      • Calibrations
      • Packing/shipments, etc.
    • Performing FAT’s with customers / inspectors
    • Organize FAT & In House Test
    • Guidance during FAT / punch list items
    • Pre inspection meeting for welding work and FAT
    • Support and advice (technical) aspects
    • Technical meeting with clients
    • Draw- and follow-up TQ’s
    • Monitoring and control of manufacturing and quality
    • Monitoring and control discipline engineers (mechanical and E&I) serving projects
    • Check the technical requirements / specifications of the project
    • Monitoring and control of project deadlines
    • Actively seeks information (internally and externally) for answering customer questions
    • Subject to experience, manages single discipline intercompany (product) orders
    • Ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 QHSE Procedures
    • Assist the company to achieve its dedicated aim of “Best Practice” at all times
    • Carry out all possible relevant work assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in engineering, electronics, Process Technology, or similar
  • 5 years of work experience
  • Both technical and commercial awareness with a flexible and proactive attitude
  • Interest and knowledge about the Oil & Gas industry and particular Custody Transfer Metering
  • General knowledge of CT standards and guidelines like ISO, AGA, API, OIML, etc.
  • Knowledge of company software tools like ERP, MS Projects, CAD
  • Able and willing to travel internationally
  • Good command of the English language in word and writing
