Job description
About the Position
We are now looking for a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager with Product Management skills to lead client accounts and projects, ensure consistent value delivery, and build long-term relationships. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong ownership, and excellent client-facing communication skills.
About the Company
Valor Software is a company founded by developers for developers. Since 2013, we’ve been building high-quality digital solutions for clients worldwide, with a strong focus on technical excellence and engineering expertise. From day one, we have hired engineers for their engineering judgment, systems thinking, and technical depth - not just frameworks and keywords.
Our role goes beyond delivering features. We extend our clients’ businesses through real engineering expertise - building architectures that scale, making technology choices that stand the test of time, and driving decisions that hold up under growth, pressure, and change.
Valor is a place for developers who want to be valued for how they think, not just how fast they ship.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle (from scoping to delivery), ensuring alignment with time, scope, and budget
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Anticipate and proactively manage risks, adapting plans to evolving client and business needs
- Maintain financial health of projects by monitoring margins and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure profitability
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, successes, and improvement areas
Requirements
- 3+ years in project management with a proven track record of delivering successful client projects and managing strong client relationships
- Solid understanding of product management principles and experience working closely with product development teams
- Proven ability to prepare proposals and confidently present them to clients
- Strong understanding of software development processes and service delivery in engineering teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex topics and build trust-based relationships
- Ability to anticipate client needs and proactively address them
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer
- A strategic role in a fast-growing international company
- Remote-first culture with flexible working hours
- Competitive compensation via a B2B contract
- Opportunity to influence technical direction and contribute to open-source initiatives
- A supportive, agile team culture where your ideas genuinely matter

Hi all! We’reValor Software, a company with Kharkiv roots and a team from all over the world. We make web and mobile solutions cool enough to be appreciated byBill Gates🧐📍What’s important for the startValor Software was created by an engineer for engineers. This gives us efficient processes that help projects and teams. Valor’s CEODmitriy Shekhovtsovwho’s become the first Angular Google Developer Expert in Ukraine describes himself as a JavaScript addict and a software architecture maniac :) Therefore the company has a pragmatic approach to everything, and we use cutting-edge technologies.📍Company’s domainValor’s key expertise lies in JavaScript and TypeScript. We build solutions for web and mobile, including complex ecosystems with hardware devices, helping the best enterprise and nonprofit products grow. Worth mentioning, that we also have our products, the ngx-bootstrap library, andthe Medusa Federated Dashboardare a couple of them.We embrace knowledge within the company and share it beyond, so Valorians are regular speakers atOpenJS World,JS Camp Barcelona,ngAtlanta,Quality Assurance Days, and other events. We’re also huge open-source fans and activists. We contribute to NativeScript and RxJS, sponsor NestJS (which is like Express only better), recently have been doing much forModule Federation, and hope to do even more in the future! Nothing special, basically we’re just doing our job :P📍Valor’s prioritiesPeople — Product — Profit. Precisely in such an order.Valor has a flat management structure, which means that every team member can reach every other team member or customer through just a messenger window. No shenanigans, simple as that. Our values and priorities:☞ Nurture self-improvement and knowledge-sharing to become stronger as a team☞ Work to build a quality product and educate the client in case their requirements put quality in question☞ Treat income as a fair reward for our professionalism, and not as a determinant of our goals📍Valor’s teamWe’re completely international with the largest communities of Valorians located in Europe and Brazil. The unique thing is that we succeed in being close and connected despite any possible distance. You can reach any team member as simply as starting huddling in Slack :-)We communicate a lot, have regular company updates, ask questions, push new initiatives, and conquer the world of Hi-Tech step-by-step. No matter where you’re, the chances are high that you’ll have your local colleagues from Valor Software nearby.📍Get to know more about us*GitHub*Behance*Dribbble*Medium*Dev.to*Twitter*Instagram❗️And join the team!CheckValor’s openingsand apply.
