Project Manager - Group Data (f/m/d)

About the Position

We are seeking a Project Manager - Group Data (f/m/d) to join Deutsche Börse Group in Frankfurt am Main, DE. In this role, you will drive the digital transformation of Deutsche Börse Group by enhancing the strategic use of data across eight business units. You will contribute directly to the Group’s data & AI strategy, lead key data initiatives, and manage projects for the Group Data section.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Chief Data Officer and senior stakeholders to transform data into a strategic asset.
• Lead key initiatives for enhancing the strategic use of data across the Group.
• Contribute to the implementation of the enterprise data & AI strategy.
• Collaborate with business, product IT, and shared IT teams to implement data mesh principles and modern data governance practices.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on performance.
• Support stakeholder alignment and facilitate effective communication across teams.
• Prepare regular updates and presentations for senior management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of digital transformation experience within a bank, asset manager, hedge fund, trading firm, exchange, strategy consultancy, or technology consultancy.
• University-level master’s degree in business administration, economics, IT, data science, engineering, or a similar relevant field.
• Good knowledge of data & analytics, including data management, data products, data contracts, data quality, metadata, data distribution, and modern data architectures.
• Experience in business transformation to become a data-driven or data-centric organization.
• Understanding of analytical and operational data use cases, enterprise data strategy, data target operating model, and data governance in a federated, decentralized setup.
• Strong project management skills, ideally backed by a recognized certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
