About the Position
We are seeking a Project Manager – Hadoop / Cloudera Platform Migration to join our team. As a recruitment company, DCG understands that every business is powered by experienced professionals. Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for a dedicated professional to lead our Hadoop/Cloudera platform migration project.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the vendor replacement and platform migration project
- Plan and manage project delivery, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks
- Manage project budget, financial planning, and forecasting
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and delivery dependencies
- Coordinate project teams and run regular project meetings
- Prepare progress reports and materials for Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings
- Ensure structured project governance and predictable delivery throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Around 7 years of professional experience in Project Management, preferably within large-scale IT transformation, infrastructure, or Big Data projects
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a large-scale Big Data platform migration projects
- Strong, practical experience within the Hadoop / Cloudera environment
- Experience managing complex technology transformation or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of project planning, risk, and issue management
- Experience with budget management and financial forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including cooperation with senior and executive stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex project dependencies and translate them into clear actions and delivery plans
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
