About the Position

We are seeking a Project Manager for nuclear engineering services to join our team in Richland, WA. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple medium to large services projects, including studies, plant modifications, and Extended Power Uprate (EPU) projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for client projects with design review services, design engineering services, and development engineering support.
  • Support client projects with feasibility studies and cost estimates.
  • Provide proposal support for client projects with technical specification preparation, RFP support, and bid evaluation support.
  • Oversee EPC contractors for client projects.
  • Manage escalated problems or issues.
  • Manage multiple projects and interface with client management, supervisors, and engineering staff at all stages of project development and execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized U.S. Citizen due to nuclear export control requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of relevant industry experience with increasing responsibility.
    • 5+ years of experience in engineering services or EPC Project Management.
    • Experience with Nuclear power projects, especially plant modifications using the industry Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-001).
    • Strong electrical engineering background in power generation facilities, specifically with generator and transformer replacement or upgrade projects, including design review and execution support.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This role will report to the client site located in Richland, WA. The work environment includes typical office and construction settings, extreme weather conditions, high noise levels, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), and atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation). Physical demands include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
