Project Manager / Product Owner

We are looking for a Project Manager / Product Owner in our Warsaw-based team. The role requires working from the office at least 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product and project delivery from discovery and exploratory phases to production release.
- Prepare and defend product proposals, priorities, and strategic recommendations using data, business reasoning, and customer impact analysis.
- Act as Product Owner by managing the product backlog, defining priorities, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment between business goals and engineering execution.
- Gather, structure, validate, and prioritize business and product requirements together with stakeholders and the engineering team.
- Drive stakeholders, lead cross-functional communication, align priorities, and confidently manage challenging discussions and decision-making processes.
- Lead Agile processes, including planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, sprint execution, and delivery tracking.
- Take ownership of critical product and delivery decisions with a strong focus on business impact, execution speed, and delivery quality.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, proactively remove blockers, and ensure accountability for results.
Requirements
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Able to drive stakeholders, influence decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and align the team around business goals.
- Highly proactive, ownership-driven, and execution-focused personality.
- Comfortable making difficult decisions and taking responsibility for outcomes.
- Able to turn ambiguous business problems into structured execution plans and product strategies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to propose improvements and defend decisions with clear reasoning.
- Focused on measurable business results, delivery quality, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with high expectations and aggressive delivery timelines.
Skills, Experience and Role Expectations
- English C1
- 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development environments.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner.
- Practical daily experience using AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, NotebookLM, and agentic automation solutions in delivery, documentation, analysis, and operational efficiency areas.
- Experience working in FinTech / LegalTech or other regulated industries.
- Strong experience managing cross-functional engineering and product functions.
- Experience leading discovery phases, requirement gathering, product planning, and delivery execution.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with ownership of backlog management and prioritization processes.
- Experience driving fast-paced delivery while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and product quality.
