About the Position
We are seeking a Project Manager - SFMC with experience in CRM and digital marketing to join our pharmaceutical client in Mettawa, Illinois. This is a hybrid role with onsite and remote options.
Responsibilities
- Manage medium to high complexity CRM and digital marketing engagements from project initiation through completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, work plans, timelines, status reports, proofing checklists, and project documentation.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously across internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate project status, track action items, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project activities, milestones, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into clear functional requirements for technical teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to ensure marketing data is loaded into marketing applications accurately and on schedule.
- Manage change requests and communicate impacts to project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Identify project issues, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Review campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate recommendations to marketing teams.
- Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and process improvements to improve campaign delivery.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately archived.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on project management experience.
- Three to five years of experience in database marketing, CRM, email, digital, direct mail, or one-to-one marketing.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong project planning, timeline, milestone, deliverable, risk, issue, and change management experience.
- Ability to capture business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for technical teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Digital marketing or interactive agency experience.
- Experience working with external marketing agencies.
- Experience with campaign performance analysis and optimization.
- Experience with process standardization and automation.
We Offer
- Competitive salary range: $45 to $50 an hour.
- Hybrid work environment: 3 times onsite (Tues-Thurs) and remote (Mon & Fri).
- Duration: 10 to 14 months contract with potential extension based on performance and business needs.
