About the Position

We are currently seeking a Database Designer for one of our clients, a leading IT integrator, in Warsaw.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining high-availability database solutions;
• Tuning, optimization, and clustering of databases;
• Implementing solutions, automating deployments, and maintaining databases;
• Participation in numerous projects carried out by the company;

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and building high-availability database solutions;
• Experience in database administration;
• Experience in tuning, optimizing, and clustering databases;
• Ability to design the physical platform of database systems;
• Very good knowledge of at least 2 of the following databases (MySQL/Percona, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, DB2);
• Knowledge of UML notation and Enterprise Architect tool;
• Experience with ElasticSearch and Docker is a plus;
• Practical knowledge of bash, SQL, and tools like SVN, Git;
• Knowledge of web services, SOAP, XML/XSD, Schematron is a plus;
