About the Position
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to lead the discovery, development, and submission of public programs. You will identify relevant opportunities, build strong project concepts, prepare high-quality proposals and work packages, and coordinate collaboration with external partners.
This role directly supports ORIL’s growth strategy in technology-driven research and innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Opportunity Discovery & Analysis
- Monitor and identify relevant project calls (bids) across international programs (ORIL will provide access to the available projects).
- Evaluate call requirements, scope, eligibility, and expected outcomes.
- Identify and engage potential project partners (industry, academia, public bodies, SMEs).
- Match opportunities with ORIL’s capabilities and strategic direction.
Proposal Development
- Lead the full proposal lifecycle: concept creation, structuring, writing, and submission.
- Gather and structure requirements (with support from ORIL delivery team); create work packages and task outlines; define scope for internal teams.
- Support post-award activities: project initiation, documentation, and first-stage reporting. Ensure a smooth handoff to internal delivery teams.
Partnership Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant partners to develop them into clients through intro calls, follow-ups, regular communication, and identifying future collaboration opportunities (approx. 30% account management).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, delivery, project coordination, or similar cross-functional roles.
- Strong business communication skills: participate and lead partner discussions, clearly articulate positions, and engage confidently with senior representatives of partner companies.
- Good grasp of most commonly used technologies and software development approaches.
- Experience preparing structured proposals.
- Proven track of maintaining long-term partnerships and nurturing warm relationships.
- English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher. Confident written and spoken communication.
- Ability to travel abroad occasionally for project-related meetings or on-site coordination when required.

- Experience working with project applications, tender processes, or similar.
- Other EU languages.
