We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee key business projects in Zhytomyr, ensuring strategic goals are met through effective project management.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Direct management of complex cross-functional projects impacting business growth (e.g., launching a new brand, relocating a warehouse, opening a regional office, implementing a new motivation system).
Resource Coordination: Aligning actions between departments (Logistics, Sales, Procurement, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc.). Resolving resource conflicts.
Constraint Management: Controlling the "iron triangle" of each project: Timelines, Budget, Quality/Content.
Risk Management: Identifying risks at the start and during implementation, developing plans to minimize them.

Registry Management: Creating and maintaining an up-to-date portfolio of all ongoing company projects.
Status Monitoring: Regularly collecting statuses from project team members, monitoring milestones.
Reporting: Preparing summary reports for top management (Project overview: plan/fact, budget, issues).
Documentation: Ensuring the availability of basic documentation for each project (Project Charter, Gantt Chart, Budget, Meeting Minutes). Maintaining a single repository of project findings/solutions/documents for strategic projects.

Standard Development: Creating a "Company Project Standard" - a set of simple and understandable rules: how we initiate a project, how we plan, how we report, and how we close.
Templates: Developing uniform document templates (Project Charter, Gantt Chart, Project Close Report) so that all managers work in the same format.
Training: Conducting internal training for business project leaders on using project tools, project planning, and evaluation, etc.

Location: Zhytomyr/Kyiv. Hybrid schedule. Fully remote work is not possible. It is important to be able to travel on business trips (Kyiv-Zhytomyr or Lviv, possibly other cities).

3+ years of experience in project management in the real sector (Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, FMCG). Experience purely in IT outsourcing may not be suitable as understanding the physical processes of goods movement is required.
Successful track record of completed organizational development or business scaling projects.

Methodologies: Practical understanding of classical project management (PMBOK / Waterfall) - the basis for infrastructure projects. Knowledge of agile approaches as an additional tool.
Tools: Confident use of MS Project (or equivalents: GanttPRO, Asana, Monday.com) for building Gantt charts and managing resources.
Business Process Modeling: Ability to model business processes is a plus.
Change Management Plan: Ability to form an operational change plan is a plus.
Financial Literacy: Ability to prepare and control a project budget (CAPEX/OPEX), understanding P&L.
Business Analysis: Ability to translate an abstract idea ("we want to enter a new region") into a concrete action plan with numbers.

Business Result Orientation: Understanding that a project is done not for the sake of the process, but for profit or market share.
Coordination and "Helicopter View": Ability to keep a holistic picture and connections between different departments in mind.
Diplomacy and Influence: Ability to manage people who are not directly subordinate (matrix structure), negotiate resource allocation, resolve conflicts of interest.
Structuredness and Discipline: Attention to order in documents, deadlines, and agreements.
Mentoring Skills: Willingness and ability to train colleagues, explain methodology in simple language, and build culture rather than just demanding reports.
