Purchasing Manager

About the Position

We are recruiting on behalf of a large manufacturing organisation for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead a centralised procurement function supporting multiple manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will oversee a team of buyers, manage supplier relationships, negotiate group-wide agreements, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring continuity of supply across the business.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 3-5+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and purchasing processes.
• Understanding of international trade, logistics, and post-Brexit customs requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and commercial analysis skills.
