About the Position
PixelPlex is hiring an experienced Python Developer to join our Backend development team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
- Build and optimize data models and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Work with high-load systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
- Write asynchronous and concurrent code for services handling large volumes of requests
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA engineers within a cross-functional team
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker
- Maintain technical documentation for developed services
Requirements
- At least 4 years of commercial experience with Python
- Deep understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and asynchronous programming in Python
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals and database optimization techniques
- Practical knowledge of and experience with MongoDB
- Experience working with high-load databases
- Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
- Understanding of Docker principles and hands-on experience using it
Nice to Have
- Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Familiarity with blockchain-related backend development
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
