QA Automation Engineer
About the Position

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for:
QA Automation Engineer in Warsaw.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend APIs using Java
- Create and maintain frontend end-to-end automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript
- Perform functional and regression testing of newly developed and modernized application features
- Identify, reproduce, analyze, and clearly document software defects
- Validate edge cases and challenge assumptions to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices
- Maintain test documentation and manage testing activities using JIRA and qTest
- Work with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Jenkins
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software testing / QA, including hands-on test automation
- Strong experience with Java, particularly for API testing
- Practical experience with Playwright and TypeScript for frontend end-to-end testing
- Solid understanding of frontend testing principles and the test pyramid
- Experience with JIRA and qTest or similar test management tools
- Knowledge of Git or another version control system
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify edge cases and uncover potential quality risks
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- Ability to clearly reproduce, analyze, and document defects
- Proactive attitude and ownership of assigned tasks
- Very good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business roles
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
