About the Position
Masons Traffic is looking for a QA Engineer (Manual, Web) to join our Design Department, where quality directly impacts our financial results. Here, a mistake is not just a UI bug; it's a broken transaction, lost ad budget, or unreliable statistics. If you enjoy digging into the root cause of problems, testing non-standard scenarios, and finding bugs before release, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and regression testing for web and mobile products.
- Pay special attention to monetary operations: transactions, balance, billing.
- Test the system in non-standard situations: network drops, operation cancellations, repeated requests, races, and asynchronous processes.
- Verify end-to-end user scenarios on real devices and different browsers.
- Check access rights and data isolation between users and teams.
- Test APIs using Postman / Swagger.
- Use DevTools to analyze requests and responses.
- Compare data directly in the database using SQL.
- Design test cases and checklists, conduct smoke and regression tests after releases.
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, logs, and environment information.
- Provide a reasoned Go / No-Go decision for releases.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile products.
- Experience testing products related to money, balances, or billing.
- Experience with asynchronous processes: queues, statuses, long operations.
- Knowledge of test design techniques: equivalence classes, boundary values, decision tables, state transitions.
- Proficiency with DevTools (Console, Network) and understanding of HTTP / REST.
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman / Swagger.
- Basic SQL.
- Experience with cross-browser testing and adaptive / mobile layout verification.
- Ability to independently find issues and design tests, not just follow predefined checklists.
- Attention to detail: if a bug occurs "sometimes," you don't stop there but find the pattern and make it reproducible consistently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in iGaming, affiliate, adtech, or performance marketing.
- Experience with automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or API tests.
- Experience running automated tests in CI/CD.
- Experience with Charles, Proxyman, Fiddler.
- Understanding of trackers, pixels, server-side conversions, and attribution.
- Experience testing generative AI products: text-to-video, image-to-video, TTS, lip-sync.
- Experience with PWA, service workers, and push notifications.
- English at A2 level for reading documentation and working with English interfaces.
