We are currently seeking a QA Test Engineer with Automation to join our rapidly growing team for a global retail pharmacy company based in Chennai, India. This role offers a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Business Requirement/Elaboration meetings and define the process of epic, future, capabilities, and user stories with the business team and product owners.
• Estimate the scope and size of the testing effort for each user story and re-plan upcoming sprints based on previous sprints.
• Create test plans, test strategies, and test scripts in the JIRA tool based on requirements gathered from business teams and reviewed with product owners and development teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform functional, UI & API automation, and product integration testing for developed applications in AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Microsoft Azure Microservices, Talend, MS SQL server, and Cosmos databases.
• Use automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and Android Studio for testing, with manual device testing conducted as needed.
• Execute tests for every cycle, either via scheduled automated methods or manually based on test environment availability.
• Perform Service Oriented Architecture testing at the early stage of development using tools like SOAPUI and Postman.
• Manage defects and follow up with the build and business partners until they are fixed and closed based on business requirements and expectations.
• Review and validate test results and defect reports based on outstanding defects as per defect SLA.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in QA and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Rest API, Manual testing, Automated testing, QA Automation, and Team Leading.
