About the Position
We are looking for an Architect (Test Automation) who will be responsible for covering customers' business goals and technical tasks, planning the full-cycle project infrastructure and design, and deciding which components the product will comprise. This role is for those enthusiastic about engineering solutions and technologies, with opportunities to create proofs-of-concept, participate in pre-sales, consult clients, and conduct audits of existing solutions to evaluate their effectiveness and determine improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design large-scale solutions with deep technical details
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify project requirements
- Design TA solutions that are maintainable, extensible, modular, and follow good industry practices (SOLID, design patterns, etc.) so project or program teams can implement them
- Create and maintain TA frameworks, TA solutions, or other shared formats usable by all projects and programs across the company
- Define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach
- Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, workflows, and configurations
- Evaluate and select the best test automation tools for different purposes
- Oversee the definition, selection, and extension of test automation architecture frameworks
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and release cycle times for manual, automated, and performance testing
- Oversee manual and automated testing efforts to validate functional, integration, regression, and performance aspects
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test processes, tools, and techniques to accelerate digital transformation
- Perform architecture reviews and audits
- Establish project necessities and goals to reach a "go-live" solution
- Engage in hands-on pre-sale activities including proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and demos
- Communicate directly with customers during solution architecture design or implementation activities
Requirements
- 12 to 15 years of experience in IT
- Knowledge of GenAI tools, testing AI/ML based systems, using LLMs, MCPs, RAG, and evaluating Agents through DeepEval/Ragas
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language, preferably Java, C#.NET, or Python
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Understanding of industry trends and best practices
- Proactive approach and leadership in architecture engagement
