Radio Frequency Engineer

EOS SAR is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team in the Kyiv office.

EOS SAR focuses on creating reliable, high-quality technologies that advance the field of Earth observation. Our work centers on developing next-generation synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems designed to provide stable, high-resolution imagery under any weather conditions and at any time of day. These capabilities are key for applications in agriculture, mining, infrastructure monitoring, and environmental management.

EOS SAR is in an active development phase, working directly at the hardware level to design, test, and refine SAR payload concepts and the satellite systems necessary for their implementation. This is hands-on engineering work that requires precision, curiosity, and a commitment to long-term technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microstrip and waveguide RF devices in the frequency range of 0.1-25 GHz, from literature research to simulation validation through measurements.
• Design microstrip antennas and antenna arrays based on them.
• Design the transmit and/or receive path of the transceiver.
• Conduct measurements of basic characteristics of antennas, transmitters, and receivers.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Generator, and Power Meter.
• Fluent technical English.
• Relevant education.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing boards with RF components in Altium Designer.
• Experience with advanced VNA calibration methods.
• Experience with automated RF measurements using RF equipment.
