About the Position
Onwelo, a technology partner providing comprehensive services in digital transformation, data, and automation, is seeking a Red Hat OpenShift Administrator. This role will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and automating containerized environments based on the OpenShift platform. The ideal candidate will support development teams and ensure high availability and security of the platform. The position is based in Warsaw with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and maintenance of the containerized application platform in the Red Hat OpenShift environment
- Monitoring performance and resolving incidents and issues
- Managing the security of the containerized environment
- Automating administrative processes
- Collaborating with DevOps, Development, and Security teams
- Configuring CI/CD and integrating with DevOps tools
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps processes
- Creating and updating technical documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining containerized applications in the Red Hat OpenShift environment
- Excellent knowledge of working with YAML files, Helm charts, and OpenShift templates used for application deployment
- Familiarity with the OpenShift application model, including: Projects / Namespaces, Service Accounts, Secrets, ConfigMaps, and other platform elements
- Knowledge of application security, including: SCC, Pod Security, Network Policies, secret management
- Experience in scaling and optimizing applications, including: HPA, VPA, managing resource requests/limits, configuring probes (liveness/readiness/startup)
- Experience with application exposure methods, such as: Routes, Services, Ingress, ExternalName, TLS termination, API Gateway patterns
- Experience in CI/CD for OpenShift applications, particularly: CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Argo CD / GitOps approach
- Required certification: Red Hat OpenShift Administrator (or equivalent)
