About the Position

Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity for a Water Resources position focused on stormwater planning and design, asset management, water quality, and integrated planning. This role is pivotal in addressing challenges stemming from stormwater regulations, flooding, water quality impairments, and the need for green infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts through the identification and capture of services including stormwater improvements, green infrastructure, flood mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Lead the execution of planning and design services and act as Project Manager.
  • Interface with innovative partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for client benefit.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
  • 15+ years of water resources planning and design experience.
  • Proficiency with applications and models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA/PC/XP-SWMM, StormWise, InfoWorks, EFDC, CFD, ArcGIS, and others.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures.
  • Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.
