About the Position

We are looking for a Release Manager with expertise in DevOps and CI/CD to lead and coordinate the software delivery process in complex technological environments. The selected individual will act as the connection point between different technical teams, ensuring that releases are planned, validated, and deployed efficiently, minimizing risks and impacts on production.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate functionalities and deliveries between different projects and teams.
- Manage functional and technical dependencies between releases.
- Monitor the process of creation, validation, and deployment of software releases.
- Monitor and coordinate the management of defects associated with each release.
- Identify and manage risks related to deliveries.
- Evaluate the impact of incidents and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
- Act as the contact point between Development, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Environments teams.
- Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- Promote continuous improvement of existing processes and propose automation initiatives.
- Collaborate in the review of CI/CD pipelines and support in the resolution of basic deployment-related incidents.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Release Management, Delivery Management, or similar positions.
- Experience coordinating teams and dependencies in multidisciplinary environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Experience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Ability to review pipelines, deployments, and identify common errors.
- Experience in incident management, risks, and operational impacts.
- Knowledge of version control systems and branching strategies.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of GitFlow or other advanced branching strategies.
- Experience in automating deployment and release processes.
- Experience in complex technological environments with multiple teams and applications.
