About the Position
We are seeking experienced Reporting Developers to design, develop, test, and maintain business reports using OBIEE and BI Publisher. The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Analysts and end users to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, perform testing, and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the report lifecycle.
Location: Remote (India or Anywhere) – Candidates must be available to work in IST time zone.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports using OBIEE and BI Publisher.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and end users to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Perform report validation, testing, and defect resolution.
- Create and maintain report documentation, including:
- Report Specifications
- Functional Documents
- User Guides
- Change Documentation
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide technical recommendations.
- Ensure reporting solutions meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.
- Support report deployment and post-production activities.
Requirements
- Strong experience in SQL.
- Hands-on experience with OBIEE and BI Publisher development.
- Working knowledge of Argus.
- Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.
- Strong testing and validation experience.
- Experience creating technical and functional documentation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences domain experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with business users and cross-functional teams.
