About the Position
Retoucher & Photographer
Fourthwall is seeking a Retoucher & Photographer to join our Photo Catalog team in Poznań, Poland. You will manage product photography end-to-end: shooting our product catalog in our in-house studio (flat lays, ghost, close-ups, etc.), then retouching and preparing the final files that go live on hundreds of thousands of creator shops.
This is a hands-on, high-volume role. Our catalog grows constantly, so you’ll be shooting and delivering new products every week, working to a consistent standard rather than a one-off creative brief. If you like tight workflows, clean files, and seeing your work used at scale, this is a good fit.
Working hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, within office hours (flexible start, specific days and hours to be agreed with the team)
On-site presence required on certain days due to the nature of the tasks (product photography)
Work mode: on-site, from our Poznań office (Jeżyce)
Contract type: B2B
Compensation: 7.000-9.000 PLN, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Retouch
- Retouch product and model photography according to established visual standards
- Ensure consistent, high-quality results across large volumes of images while maintaining an organized and consistent file structure
- Refine garments and fabrics by removing imperfections such as loose threads, spots, discoloration, wrinkles, and other unwanted details
- Retouch skin, hair, clothing, and backgrounds naturally, ensuring that edits remain seamless and unnoticeable
- Perform accurate color correction to ensure images closely match the physical products and maintain consistency across the catalog
- Create clean and precise garment masks, paying close attention to edges, color bleeding, and small product details
- Follow technical documentation, file naming conventions, and established production workflows
- Use Photoshop efficiently, including Actions and batch processing, to streamline repetitive tasks and maintain consistency
- Independently manage assigned retouching tasks and deliver work within agreed timelines
- Review work critically, identify inconsistencies or quality issues, and make appropriate corrections before delivery
- Communicate clearly with the team when requirements are unclear or when potential quality issues or workflow improvements are identified
Photography
- Shoot our product catalog in our in-house studio: apparel lay flats, ghosted photography, accessories, drinkware, print products, and model photography
- Set up and maintain lighting, backdrops, and mannequin/lay flat setups for repeatable, consistent results
- Shoot tethered, manage capture settings and color consistency across sessions
- Prepare products before the shoot (steaming, pinning, styling) so they photograph clean
- Work with models and the team during model shoots, directing simple poses and framing
- Keep to shot lists and delivery deadlines agreed with the Product Catalog team
Requirements
- Based in Poznań and happy to work on-site from our studio
- Clear communication in Polish (B2) and English (min. B1)
- A portfolio showing product photography and retouching, ideally apparel or e-commerce
- Photoshop CC and Camera Raw experience is a must-have
- Confident with frequency separation, Curves, Hue/Saturation, color keying, blending, Photoshop Actions, and bulk processing
- Skin retouching skills where the result stays natural and invisible
- Comfortable with studio lighting: strobes, modifiers, light shaping, consistent exposure and white balance
- Comfortable working with 16-bit images and the technical side of image manipulation
- Disciplined about layer structure, file naming, and following documentation exactly
- Tablet user
- Organized and detail-oriented, you notice the 2px margin difference and the stray thread
- Proactive problem-solving skills, you improve the workflow instead of just running it
We Offer
- 7.000-9.000 PLN net + 0% VAT (paid in USD - since you’ll be exporting your services to the US)
- B2B contract for an indefinite period
- Equity in our US-based company
- A lot of autonomy and real ownership over your work - we trust people to make decisions and improve things
- Flexible working hours and a comfortable office in Jeżyce, Poznań
- Private healthcare (LUX MED), MultiSport card, and English lessons
- Macbook and any additional equipment you need to do your best work
- Team integrations, shared initiatives, and regular opportunities to spend time together outside of day-to-day work
- The chance to work closely with experienced people in an international startup environment where your ideas and initiative actually matter
