About the Position
Salesforce Commerce Cloud-L2 Analyst
Location: Bengaluru, India
Why Valtech?
We’re the experience innovation company - a trusted partner to the world’s most recognized brands. To our people we offer growth opportunities, a values-driven culture, international careers and the chance to shape the future of experience.
The Opportunity
At Valtech, you’ll find an environment designed for continuous learning, meaningful impact, and professional growth. Whether you're pioneering new digital solutions, challenging conventional thinking or building the next generation of customer experiences, your work will help transform industries.
The Role
As an SFCC/SFMC-L2 Analyst, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 2+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.
You will thrive in this role if you are:
- A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo
- A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing
- Excited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data
- Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Triage and diagnose incidents related to storefront availability, cart, checkout, pricing/promotions, product display, search and order flows across both SFRA and PWA storefronts
- Monitor site performance, order processing and integration jobs (import/export, API calls) and raise alerts on anomalies within agreed SLA windows
- Investigate issues linked to payment service provider integrations (e.g. card and alternative payment methods), PSP callbacks, tax and fraud screening, and checkout errors
- Perform first-level analysis on integration flows with PIM, DAM, ERP/OMS and fulfilment systems via the integration/middleware layer
- Reproduce defects in staging/sandbox instances, capture Business Manager and application logs, and prepare clear, well-documented escalation packages for L3
- Support content and merchandising business-as-usual activities (e.g. slot configuration, catalog/category checks) when incidents are content related
- Track scheduled batch jobs and data feeds; identify failures and coordinate re-runs with L3/operations teams
- Provide heightened monitoring support during peak trading periods (sales events, product launches, seasonal campaigns)
- Maintain knowledge base articles documenting known errors, workarounds and resolution steps
- Collaborate with the Core and Marketing Cloud support streams on shared, cross-channel customer journeys (e.g. account creation, back-in-stock, newsletter subscription flows)
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud architecture, including SFRA, and awareness of composable/headless storefronts and their APIs
- Solid understanding of core eCommerce concepts: catalog, pricing, promotions, cart/checkout and order management
- Experience with Business Manager administration, configuration and log analysis
- Experience using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) within an SLA-driven incident management model
- Basic exposure to JavaScript/Node.js concepts sufficient to support diagnosis and read application logs (this is a non-development role; code fixes are escalated to L3)
- Understanding of payment gateway, tax and fraud-prevention integrations in an eCommerce context
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in a high-traffic, revenue-critical environment
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Developer or Business Practitioner certification
- Exposure to headless/composable storefront implementations
- Experience supporting multi-country or cross-border eCommerce sites
- Experience in retail or luxury goods eCommerce environments
We Offer
- Flexibility, with remote and hybrid work options (country-dependent)
- Career advancement, with international mobility and professional development programs
- Learning and development, with access to cutting-edge tools, training and industry experts
