SAP BTP Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our innovative insurance operating system team in Kyiv, Ukraine. This role is fully remote.

About the Company and the Project

Our company is the end-to-end insurance operating system, enabling any entity within the insurance lifecycle to operate the entirety of their activities and cooperate/interact with third parties. Based in the DIFC Innovation Hub, we are a group of more than 20 passionate and dedicated insurance and software professionals on a mission to upgrade the insurance industry from the inside out.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze new requirements from business or system analysts.
• Provide analysis and requirement capture throughout development project lifecycles, working alongside the company System Analysts.
• Application migration from XSC on premise to BTP.
• Develop microservices-based applications on BTP.
• Understand customer business requirements and propose solutions.
• Develop the solutions using our standards tools and processes.
• Support existing applications based on the SLA’s.
• Produce internal progress reports as required.
• Fix and resolve technical issues. Debug, tune, and optimize programs for performance.
• Maintain adherence to internal quality requirements.
• Remain aware of current technologies and update the team if relevant technology emerges.
• Comfortable working with Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in SAP.
• Proven knowledge on SAP HANA, CAPM, MTA, XSA, Cloud Foundry, NodeJS, Modelling, and SQL.
• Experience using business application studio and VScode.
• Ability to rapidly pick up new technologies, propositions, and business areas.
• Excellent English communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a team of technical resources.
• Close attention to detail and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
• Willingness to grow.
• Team player.
• Produce readable, high-quality code.
• Advanced level of experience in SAP CDS and SQL is a must.
• Advanced level of experience in Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Creating Tables and Views using SQL is a must.
• Expertise in Transact-SQL (DDL, DML, DCL) and in Design and Normalization of the database tables.
• Experience and good knowledge of Performance Tuning and Stress Testing are required.
• Good understanding of software product development lifecycle.
• Prize reliability, simplicity, and robustness in building out systems.
• Communicate clearly and listen well.
• Self-starter and comfortable taking on a variety of roles.

About the Tracker and Management Tools

We use Monday.com for project management, but monthly timesheets should be provided if the candidate works remotely.
