About the Role

As a SAP Commerce Cloud Developer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 4-6+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

Development & Customization: Develop, customize, and extend SAP Commerce Cloud applications using Java, Spring Framework, and SAP-specific extensions.
Headless Commerce: Build and maintain headless storefronts using Spartacus (Angular/TypeScript) and integrate them via REST/OData APIs.
Data & Configuration: Write and maintain complex Impex scripts, FlexibleSearch queries, and manage Backoffice configurations.
Integrations: Design and implement integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and backend systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CI/CPI, OMS, Payment Gateways, PIM).
Cloud Management: Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in the SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) environment using the Merchant Center / Cloud Portal and HAC.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Code Quality: Conduct peer code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
Support & Optimization: Provide L3 support, perform performance tuning, and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Requirements

Experience: 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development and implementation.
Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE), Spring Framework, Hibernate, and object-oriented design.
SAP Commerce Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP Commerce data models, extension framework, Impex, FlexibleSearch, Backoffice, and WCMS (SmartEdit).
Accelerators: Experience working with SAP Commerce B2B and/or B2C Accelerators.
Frontend / Headless: Solid experience with Spartacus (Angular) or traditional SAP Commerce frontend (JSP/Tag files, AngularJS).
Integration Skills: Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, OData, and integration middleware (SAP Cloud Integration / CPI is a strong plus).
Database: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SAP HANA, MySQL, Oracle).
Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

Certifications: SAP Certified Development Professional – SAP Commerce Cloud Developer.
Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with the broader SAP Customer Experience (CX) suite, including SAP CPQ, SAP Emarsys, or SAP Service Cloud.
CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Cloud Foundry.
Domain Experience: Previous experience in the [Retail / Manufacturing / Wholesale / etc.] industry.
