SAP UI5 Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled SAP UI5 Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Kyiv, focusing on developing and maintaining SAP frontend applications.

It is the end-to-end insurance operating system, enabling any entity within the insurance lifecycle to operate the entirety of their activities and cooperate/interact with third parties. Its unique advantage is to incorporate not only insurance underwriting and claims handling, but also all associated support and corporate activities. It is the team behind the platform. Based in the DIFC Innovation Hub, it is a group of more than 20 passionate and dedicated insurance and software professionals on a mission to upgrade the insurance industry from the inside out.

Responsibilities

• Design prototypes and mockups;
• SAPUI5 development & SAP Fiori UI/UX;
• SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and application integration;
• SAP NetWeaver Gateway (OData) Services Development with Basic ABAP;
• Eclipse development environment with local server testing;
• HTML5, CSS3, JSON, jQuery, JavaScript;
• Gather and analyze new requirements from business or system analyst;
• Provide analysis and requirement capture throughout development project lifecycles, working alongside the company System Analysts;
• Understand customer business requirements and propose solutions;
• Develop the solutions using our standards tools and processes;
• Support existing applications based on the SLA’s;
• Fix and resolve technical issues. Debug, tune and optimize programs for performance;
• Maintain adherence to internal quality requirements;
• Remain aware of current technologies and update the team if relevant technology emerges;
• Comfortable working with Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience;
• Minimum 5 years experience in SAP;
• Ability to rapidly pick-up new technologies, propositions and business areas;
• Excellent English communication skills both verbally and in writing;
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a team of technical resources;
• Close attention to detail and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects;
• Fiori / SAP UI5 skills, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SAP WEBIDE, Eclipse;
• ODATA services, XSODATA services, SAP eCommerce website development;
• SAP BTP;
• Willingness to grow;
• Team player;
• Produce readable, high-quality code;
• Comfortable with cloud platforms, SQL;
• Prize reliability, simplicity, and robustness in building out systems;
• Communicate clearly and listen well;
• Self-starter and comfortable taking on a variety of roles;
• Go-getter approach, hands-on and resourceful.

Monday.com but monthly timesheets should be provided if the candidate works remotely.
