Responsibilities

As a Scrum Master, you will:

  • Coach and support the development team and the Product Owner in fully understanding and applying Scrum and Agile principles.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) with dynamism and efficiency.
  • Identify and actively remove impediments (blockers) that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging best practices, team autonomy, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Track team performance using relevant Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts) and ensure total transparency with all stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive, caring, and communicative environment to maximize team cohesion, motivation, and well-being.

Requirements

  • Higher education degree in IT or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master empowering technical teams, ideally within web or software development environments.
  • Recognized Scrum Master Certification (such as PSM I/II or CSM).
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (knowledge of Kanban or SAFe is a plus).
  • Proficiency with agile project management and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Natural leadership, empathy, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Fluency in English and French (or Dutch).
