Security Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Security Engineer to manage vulnerabilities and ensure the security of software systems across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with security tools and cloud platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement effective remediation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and remediate vulnerabilities in software systems in real time
• Utilize tools such as Qualys, Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes to identify and address security vulnerabilities
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure the security of software systems
• Collaborate with IT Security, IT, and asset owners to provide real-time alerts and recommended remediation solutions
• Stay updated on the latest security practices and vulnerabilities to proactively protect software systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in security engineering
• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Qualys
• Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Capability to work remotely and independently, with no work from the office required
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level

Nice to Have

• Background in DevOps and security monitoring
• Familiarity with security technologies like Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure
