Security Engineer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Security Engineer for our client, an international company in the FinTech sector, located in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing security solutions and features for web applications;
• Determining strategies for updating web application security devices;
• Managing issues and maintaining relationships with vendors;
• Maintaining current infrastructure of WAF solutions and preventing DDoS attacks;
• Creating and implementing WAF policies to protect the company's applications;
• Creating and implementing custom WAF alert, search rules, and dashboards;

Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience working with application firewalls (WAF) such as F5/Imperva/etc.;
• Experience with web applications, frameworks, and protocols;
• Very good knowledge of DDoS mitigation solutions;
• Knowledge of hardware security solutions such as Checkpoint Firewalls, IPS, Bluecoat Proxy (design, implementation, and operation);
• Knowledge of methods for using web applications, such as the OWASP Top 10;
• Experience in scripting and coding (bash, PowerShell, python, etc.);
• Extensive experience and knowledge of tools used for application security;
• Very good knowledge of the English language in speech and writing;
• Experience with DLP solutions is welcome;
