About the Position

Senior Accountant Controller

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Senior Accountant Controller to join our Accounting & Reporting team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timeliness and quality of Glovo's financial reporting to Delivery Hero, supporting the global month-end close and strengthening the control environment around the financial close.

Responsibilities

• Support the global month-end close and monthly reporting to Delivery Hero, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Review IFRS financial statements of Glovo subsidiaries and group-level consolidation, correcting inconsistencies before they reach stakeholders.
• Collaborate with corporate and local accounting teams to design and implement controls over the financial close.
• Contribute to RACI design and embedding redesigned processes to ensure controls operate as intended.
• Support projects on presentation and disclosure, IFRS treatment of reporting standards, and the refinement of our reporting tool (OneStream).
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for accounting and finance colleagues on financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Solid experience in accounting and/or reporting and consolidation.
• Fluent English required.
• Good technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation, with an understanding of risk and control matrices and process design.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools such as OneStream (SAP S/4HANA is a plus), proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
• Analytical, organized, accountable mindset with strong attention to detail under strict deadlines.
