For over five years, we have been organizing sports tournaments and broadcasts and developing our own sports community. Every month, we conduct over 45,000 events in esports and traditional sports. BETER's products are present in more than 150 countries worldwide, and our partners include leading international companies.

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and be responsible for the full accounting cycle of one of our Ukrainian legal entities.

This role is for an experienced specialist who is confident in navigating Ukrainian accounting and tax legislation, has practical experience with international operations, and is ready to independently ensure the quality and timeliness of accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing the full accounting cycle of a Ukrainian legal entity.
• Maintaining accounting and tax records for a company that is not a VAT payer.
• Accounting for foreign economic activity (FEA), currency operations, and settlements with non-residents.
• Ensuring the accuracy of recording business transactions in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
• Maintaining and verifying primary accounting documentation.
• Accounting for bank transactions, settlements with suppliers and customers, fixed assets, and other accounting areas.
• Independently closing reporting periods (month-end closing).
• Preparing accounting and tax reports.
• Ensuring the correctness of accounting data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Participating in the optimization, standardization, and automation of accounting processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting.
• Higher specialized education.
• Thorough knowledge of Ukrainian accounting and tax legislation.
• Practical experience in independently managing the full accounting cycle of a Ukrainian legal entity.
• Experience in accounting for a company that is not a VAT payer.
• Practical experience with foreign economic activity, currency operations, and settlements with non-residents.
• Experience in preparing accounting and tax reports.
• Experience in independently closing reporting periods (month-end closing).
• Proficiency in 1C / BAS.
• Experience with M.E.Doc / Vchasno and client-bank systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables, working with large data sets).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience working in international, IT / technology, or service companies.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities or in a centralized accounting department.
• Experience in optimizing and automating accounting processes.
