Job description

About the Position

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Agentic Business Analyst to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic. We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts, and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Process Discovery: Partner with human agents to shadow workflows, conduct detailed process walkthroughs, and map end-to-end "as-is" processes across 50+ operational areas.
  • Evaluate & Classify Opportunities: Assess candidate processes against structured criteria to qualify and categorize them for Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), or Agentic AI (Azure specific).
  • Calculate ROI & Prioritize: Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses to build a high-value automation roadmap.
  • Draft Documentation: Author comprehensive Process Definition Documents (PDDs) that translate business requirements into clear specifications for developers.
  • Design Human-in-the-Loop Workflows: Architect "to-be" processes that eliminate operational bottlenecks and create seamless handoffs between automation tools and human agents for exception handling.
  • Lead Testing & Implementation: Collaborate with automation developers during build cycles, define test scenarios, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with operational teams.
  • Manage Change & Enablement: Serve as the liaison between technical teams and operations, guiding change management efforts and training human agents to interact with new automated systems.
  • Track Post-Launch Metrics: Establish operational KPIs (e.g., handle time reduction, error rates, bot utilization) to measure benefit realization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in Automation Delivery: 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Process Consultant specifically focused on RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate) and AI/ML integrations (e.g., OCR, IDP, LLMs, Azure).
  • Process Modelling Mastery: Advanced proficiency in process mapping methodologies (BPMN 2.0) and tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or ARIS.
  • Analytical & ROI Modelling Skills: Strong data-gathering and analytical skills to quantify process volumes, exception rates, potential time savings, and financial return on investment.
  • Stakeholder & Front-Line Engagement: Proven ability to work directly with operational agents, translating hands-on feedback and edge cases into precise technical requirements.
  • Agile/SDLC Experience: Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, managing automation backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Process Optimization Mindset: Demonstrated ability to evaluate whether a process needs rule-based automation, AI enhancements, or fundamental process re-engineering before automating.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred Certifications: Recognized certifications in RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath Certified Business Analyst), Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or Agile frameworks (CSPO/PSPO).

We Offer
