About the Position

At the core of the role, the AI Engineer is the foremost technical authority for AI-driven software delivery practices. The role defines engineering strategy, architecture standards, AI governance implementation, and enterprise-scale adoption of AI throughout the software development lifecycle. This individual drives transformation towards AI-native engineering practices while ensuring security, quality, traceability, and compliance. Inspired by emerging AI-DLC practices, the AI Engineer guides teams in leveraging AI across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI engineering strategy across the software development lifecycle.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices, and AI governance frameworks.
• Lead the adoption of AI-powered tools and processes across development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Ensure security, quality, compliance, and traceability in AI-assisted software delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on AI-native engineering practices.
• Support teams in leveraging AI for requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies to improve software delivery efficiency and innovation.
• Mentor and train engineering teams on effective and responsible AI usage.
